The Splitting Cells project involves both the shedding of tradition and family ideals, as well as the exploration or freedom and identity.

This body of work addresses beauty, but also violence. Lumen prints enable a process of romanticizing harshness and death through heat and light. In the name of beauty, desire, and will, I subjected myself to this experience

Nostalgia is a phenomenon that both does good, as well as bad. We are left with little memory of our traumas, but also a longing desire for a dishonest decaying past.
